A company founded on diligence,
perseverance and knowledge
n 1931 in Salem, Oregon, Clayton Morse
opened a small building materials store for contractors,
builders and handymen. Over the years, that single storefront
has grown into a multimillion-dollar enterprise, serving
the Pacific Northwest, northern California and Hawaii.
We are the region’s premier provider of quality building
materials, superior customer service, and above all, knowledgeable expertise
in every facet of construction—from foundation to finish.
Today, third generation owner Jim Morse continues to build
on a proud family legacy, rooted in a solid fundamental: Put customer needs
first.
Jim says, “The key to customer satisfaction is providing
expert analysis, knowledgeable execution, and meticulous follow through.”
Recognizing the most important
element in
the construction equation: people
While Pacific Lumber & Truss has been quick to adopt
the latest in machinery and technology throughout its history, senior management
has always placed uppermost emphasis on attracting and retaining the most capable
minds in the business.
It’s an approach that’s paid great dividends—for our customers,
vendors and all of our employees. Rely on us for the skills, knowledge, and
materials to successfully complete every building or remodeling project, now
and in the future.
Steady growth in the new millennium
In order to best serve the needs of
the marketplace, Pacific Lumber & Truss has greatly
expanded its capabilities since the beginning of the
new century.
Here’s a brief overview of our recent growth:
In 2001, we acquired an eight-acre lumber
yard, including a full-service loading dock, in Hillsboro, which serves builder
markets as far away as Seattle, Boise, Sacramento and Honolulu.
In 2002, we purchased two additional lumber
yards and a truss manufacturing facility. We also established the Lake Oswego
Remodeler’s Center.
In 2003, we founded Pacific Door & Millwork,
which provides premier doors, windows, moulding and millwork. We also expanded
into Central Oregon, opening a new lumber yard in Bend.
In 2004, we added our second truss manufacturing
plant, located in Bend.
In 2007, Pacific Door & Millwork moved
into a new 15,000-sq.-ft. facility.
And Pacific Lumber & Truss is ever diligent, always looking
ahead to new opportunities and even better ways to serve you.
